RIGGS, E. Russell (Russ)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, January 23, 2003 E. Russell (Russ) Riggs, beloved father and husband, passed away at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona at the age of 80. Having moved his family from Ohio to Arizona in 1959 seeking better health, he began a highly successful career building quality homes in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, for which he received recognition and awards for his many innovations. His wife of 55 years, Betty, survives Russ, as do his children Christine Davies, Bradford Riggs and Robert Riggs, and six grandchildren. His family and friends will cherish the memory of his hospitality, generosity, and love of life. A private family memorial service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
