The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, January 23, 2003 Dr. Jerry Wetherell, 73, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away January 18, 2003. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, graduated from Lewis and Clark College and University of Oregon Medical School. He served four years in the Army, practiced general surgery at Maryvale Hospital in Phoenix, Az. until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Helen, sons, Todd and Dan of Calif., son, Frank, of Flagstaff, son Mike and daughter, Toni of Arizona, sister Frances Koler of Oregon, and seven grandchildren.
