NUMKENA, Janice Marie

Janice Marie Numkena, 51, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2002, surrounded by family and close friends. Janice was born on August 31, 1950 in Phoenix, AZ. She attended J.B. Sutton Elem., Phx, Sherman Indian H.S., and Haskell J.C. KS. Janice was currently employed by the Gila River Lone Butte Casino but had retired from Motorola Inc. after a respectful career of 25 years. Janice was the fifth oldest of 9 sisters and 6 brothers. She is survived by husband; Robert G. Numkena, of 31 years. Daughters; Marlena P., Heather C., and Angela M., Mother; Frances L. Sakiestewa-Nelson, Sisters; Virgie Francis, N.M., Marceline Hills, Charlene K. Howard, Diane L. Talahaftewa, and Lorraine M. Flores (Steve M.), Brothers; Howard R. Dallas (Hilma Polelonema), Gifford P. Dallas (Jacque K.), Walter A. Dallas, Galin D. Dallas, and Victor C. Dallas, 13 nephews, 11 nieces, 4 great nephews, 7 great nieces. Janice is preceded in death by Father Robert Dallas Jr., Sisters; Roberta J. Nastacio, Roseann E. Bilagody, and Noreen G. Crook, Brother; Merlyn R. Dallas. A Mother of Pure Love Perfect Qualities, A Wife of Truest Love Faithful Heart, A Sister of Motherly Love Lawful Caring, A Friend of Generous Love and Forever.
