Cynthia Diane Garrett (Carlson) 44, died July 4, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Aug 14, 1957, the youngest of five, to Allen and Betty Carlson, in Montclair, NJ. Cynthia moved to AZ with her family in Jan, 1961. She attended Navajo Elem in Scottsdale and Apollo HS in Glendale. She is survived by her husband David Garrett; daughters Sommer, Jody, and Jordyn; stepdaughters Stephanie and April; brothers Rick and Jeff Carlson; 6 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a talented craftsman, an exceptional musician and made her family and friends feel loved. Memorial Services will be held at The Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Tues., July 9, 2002.
