WYATT, Robert O.

Robert O. Wyatt, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 3, 2002 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in Missouri but lived in Arizona for 60 years. Bob was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was on the USS Sculpin submarine as a Gunnersmate and was awarded the Bronze Star for valiantly protecting his boatmates as his submarine was sinking. He was a Prisoner of War in Japan for two years. May God bless all our Veterans and those now serving our country. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret, daughter & son-in-law, Janice & James Ford, grandchildren, Janae & Jason Ford and stepson, Kenneth Bowles. Bob loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be greatly missed. Graveside Services with military honors will be Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery 2300 West Van Buren in Phoenix.
