She was born on January 23, 1952 in Florence, Arizona. She is survived by her parents; Raymond and Teresa Argel, sisters; Teresa Oelerich and Natalia Argel, brother; Raymond Argel, nephews; Holden and Higgins, and niece, Sara Skyy. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She worked at the Arizona Department of Economic Security for 27 years most recently as the Quality Coordinator. She was an avid U of A Wildcat fan, State President of the Arizona Federation of Business Professional Women's club, and doting aunt. She loved to collect Coca-Cola memorabilia, travel, and shop. Services to be held on Friday, February 21, 2003 with viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at the Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Florence, Arizona. The Mass and funeral will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 11:30. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Sylvia's name to Hospice of the Valley.
