CORY, Robert (Bob) George

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 19, 2003 Robert (Bob) George Cory, 76, of Chandler, AZ, passed away February 14, 2003. He was born November 25, 1926 in Omaha, NE. Bob served proudly in the U.S. Navy air crew during WWII. He graduated from Denver Univ. in 1951 (Bachelor of Arts), Mankato State Univ. in 1955 (Master of Science), and Univ. of MN in 1965 (Specialist in Education). He taught school and was a dedicated elementary school principal at Folwell and Hoover schools in Rochester, MN, retiring in 1981 after 30 years, and moving to Phoenix, AZ shortly thereafter. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years JoAnn; daughters Barbara (Bob) Smith and Jane (Beau) Johnson; son Todd (Michelle) Cory; grandchildren Collin and Amanda; and sister Betty. He will be truly missed by all!
