LINDEQUIST, Ferne

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 19, 2003 Ferne Lindequist, passed away peacefully February 13, 2003 at the age of 87. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 25, 1915. She received a certificate of appreciation from the War Department for her efforts in the production of the Atomic Bomb. Ferne was preceded in death by her daughter Shirley and her son Paul. She is survived by her husband Wilbur, her daughter Jan Pakay, brother Doug Wall and family member Bill Pakay. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her family at Desert Terrace Nursing Center where she spent her last 9 years. A celebration of Ferne's life will be held Friday, February 21, 2003 at 6:30 P.M. at Mountain View Christian Church, 2927 E. Campbell, Phoenix.
