Dolores "Della, Dee" Moravec Zalud, 80, passed away February 12, 2003, in her home in Phoenix, AZ.
Dolores was born November 28, 1922, in Chicago, IL. She moved to Phoenix with her family in 1969, where she later retired from Motorola. After retirement she and her husband and sister became "snowbirds" and spent their summers at their home in Woodlake Trails outside Lodi, WI.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sandi Duci (Eddie) and Donna Wood (Don), both residing in the Phoenix area, along with five grandchildren: Anne Marie Armstrong (David) of Crestwood, IL; Cathi Havens (Ross) of San Jose, CA; Candice Nichols of Scottsdale, AZ; Tara Summer Ball of Glendale, AZ; Steve Ball of Phoenix, AZ, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and her sister, Charlotte. Services will be held Sunday, February 23 at 1pm at Shadow Mountain Mortuary in Phoenix.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014. We'll miss you, Mom.
