GRIMES, Opal

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 20, 2003 Mrs. Opal Grimes, age 66 of Phoenix died on Feb. 15, 2003. A native of Camden, AR and an area resident for more than 50 years. She was retired from the Phoenix Elementary School District. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, Sr.; children, Rhonda, Traci and Kenneth Grimes, Jr., Jetti Short; one sister; Betty Taylor, one brother: James Johnson, 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 20 from 6p.m.-8p.m. at Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson St. Services are Friday, 10:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1401 E.
