KIRKANDER, Rodney H.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 20, 2003 Rodney H. Kirkander, Gone home to be with the Lord on Feb. 17, 2003 at age 81. Rodney is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; daughter Lynda Choate; son, Mark (Laura) Kirkander; granddaughters, Crystal and Alicia Kirkander; and grandson, Mark Kirkander, Jr. Rodney was born in Newark, NJ on March 22, 1921. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during WWII and the Korean War and received several honors. Rodney was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He was a long time member of the Palmcroft Baptist Church where he was a dedicated Choir Librarian. Memorial Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, Feb. 21, 2003 at Palmcroft Baptist Church (15825 N. 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85053). Interment at 1:30 pm, National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23039 N.
