Ted Lewis Caudill left this world to join his beloved wife, Gwendolyn Louise McEachern Caudill on September 17, 2002 He was 73 years old and October 17th would have marked their 53rd Wedding Anniversary. Ted was born in El Paso, Texas on February 5, 1929.
He managed Caudill's Home Furnishings in Eloy, (where he met his wife,) from 1948 until 1956 when he moved his young family to Chandler to manage Stuart's Home Furnishings until he started his own business, Caudill's Carpet and Carpet Cleaning in 1967. Ted was active in Young Life in the Chandler Chapter from 1966 through 1971.
He supported over 20 children through World Vision and until his illness tithed 50% of his earnings. Those whose lives were touched by Ted, those who shared in his mental agony and suffering of losing his wife are invited to Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish at 2312 E. Campbell Avenue in Phoenix on Tuesday, January 28th at 5:30 p.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to World Vision, Young Life, or the Kivel Care Center, who provided such loving care and a peaceful parting for Ted.
