The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, January 25, 2003 Gladys E. Gorsik, 92, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Tuesday January 21, 2003, at her winter home in Scottsdale, Az. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Chapel, 1-435 at Holmes Rd. Burial in Mt. Moriah/Freeman South Cemetery Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Mrs. Gorsik was born February 26, 1910 in Kansas City, Mo. She was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Gorsik. Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth Gorsik Petrowitz and Barbara Denzin: grandchildren, Julie McNeely of Ks., Hal Woodhead, Patrick Carr, Michael Carr, Sherrie Carr, Rose Marie Carr and Paul Carr; eight great- grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and her sister Mildred Brenneman.
