SANCHEZ,
Concepcion (Connie)
(Maiden Name: Sanchez)
Concepcion "Connie" Sanchez, devoted wife and mother, died peacefully in her sleep Thursday morning (January 31, 2002) at the Kivel Care Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 76.
Connie was born July 27, 1925 in Phoenix, the first of three children born to Dolores and Rodolfo Angel Sanchez. Connie's brother, Raymond Anthony Sanchez, died in 1976. Robert died in infancy.
Connie attended Immaculate Heart Parochial School and graduated from Phoenix Union High School. While attending Phoenix Union, she met her future husband, Harry Sanchez. In later years, he freely admitted using the coincidence of the same last name to warn off potential suitors of his non-existent "cousin" Connie. Their loving family always appreciated this friendly invention. Connie exemplified the highest standards of devotion and home.
Harry died last July 26th and they leave a grateful family of five children: Harry, Mark, Anna, Paul and Philip John. They've given them nine grandchildren and two surviving great-grandchildren.
