Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 2, 1956, p. 1 PHOENIX RESIDENT DIED AT CONGRESS Mercer D. Wilson, Jr., of Phoenix, employed in construction work on Highway 93, died suddenly Tuesday in Congress. He was 53 years of age. The body was taken to Phoenix for funeral services and burial. He is survived by his wife, Lucille, his mother, Mrs. Mercer D. Wilson, Sr., and a brother, George Wilson of Los Angeles. Note: Mercer's mother was Mary (Tickell) Wilson. Az. Death Certificate.
