Helen Marie Cox, 64, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away January 23, 2003.
Visitation 11 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2003 at Newcomer Family Mortuary, 6812 E. Thomas Road, Scottsdale, Az.
Services at 1 p.m., reception at Uncle Sal's Restaurant, Southwest corner of Osborn & Hayden Road, Scottsdale.

Helen Marie Cox, 64, of Phoenix, Arizona after a four year battle with breast cancer, passed on to a better place on Jan. 23, 2003. She was born in Albion, Ill. on Sept. 24, 1938.
She was a graduate of Mt. Carmel, Illinois High School 1956; graduate of Barnes School of Nursing, St. Louis, Missouri in 1959. She had a long career in nursing at Renard Mental Hospital, St. Louis; Phoenix Camelback Hospital, and Wendy Paine O'Brien Treatment Center. She retired from Banner Healthcare in 1999. She had national certification in Healthcare Quality, and served on the AZ State Infection Control Board.
She will be greatly missed by Thomas C. Cox, her husband of 41 years; son Thomas J. Cox; daughter Karen Pelletier: son-in-law William Pelletier; and granddaughter Lauren Marie Pelletier.
Viewing will be Saturday, February 1, 2003, at 11:00, at Newcomer Family Mortuary, 6812 E. Thomas Rd. Scottsdale, AZ.
A private family service will be held, followed by a reception at Uncle Sal's Restaurant, Southwest corner of Osborn and Hayden Rd. at 1 p.m., Feb. 1, where Helen hopes all her friends and family will meet and tell wonderful stories about her life.
