DUFFY, Paula Jean

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 26, 2003 Paula Jean Duffy, our beloved mother, died peacefully at home in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 10, 2003. She had endured debilitating illness for two years. Paula was a lifelong resident of Arizona, born July 30, 1932 in Phoenix, Az. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School, and completed her registered nurse training at good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. She was eagerly anticipating the 50th reunion of her nursing class later this year. Her selfless love for her five children, and compassionate attention given to the many patients she cared for will never be forgotten. She is survived by her children Shawna, Scot (Diane), Brent (Gail), Patt (Veronica), and Kit (Michele), her brother Victor Duffy (Jaime) and his four daughters. Her grandchildren are Maggie, Shane, Spencer, Amanda, Colin, Tommy and Cory. Mother, you are always in our hearts.
