Mom, as you walk in peace with God by your side, we will always remember your smile and what you taught us. Though your life was not an easy one, you never complained, and you showed that through the way that you lived your life. This will always be your legacy. You taught us to share with others, be kind and love one another. The many people that knew you will always remember your kindness and love. For it is not what you have, but what you can give that is important. God only gives us what burdens we can handle; you were able to handle yours with courage and grace. Remember how much you were loved, now you are with Nicole, Brian, Sheri, and your other family members, in a world much greater than ours!
Elva was born to Paul and Kristine Gehler, who preceded her in death, as well as several of her siblings, one grandson, Brian Hanson, one granddaughter, Sheri Hardt, and great-grand daughter, Nicole Barrett-Young.
