Barret V. Marston, of Paradise Valley Township passed away January 22, 2003 at the age of 57. Barret was born in New York City July 25, 1945.
He was raised in Bryn Mawr, Penn. outside of Philadelphia. At age 16 he moved west with family to Arizona and never looked back. He loved the West.
After graduating from Judson School, he attended the University of Arizona prior to joining the Valley National Bank for over 25 years. Later he joined his wife, Susie, in the travel agency business. Active member of Scottsdale Sunrise Kiwanis; his favorite hobby was cooking.
Cherished, loved and survived by his wife of 31 years, Susie; his sister Diana M. Oliphant of Sedona, Az.; and his nephews Alexander M. Oliphant of Phoenix and Andrew E. Oliphant of Weddington, N.C. As well as many loving extended family members and wonderful friends.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 30th at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, Az.
The family requests donations be given to Valley Big Brothers and Big Sisters, 1010 E. McDowell, Phoenix, Az., 85006.
