The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 22, 2003 Viola Rose "Vi" Adams, 94, of Prescott, Az, passed away February 19, 2003. A Celebration of Life service at 1:30pm February 25, 2003, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 fluery, Prescott, AZ. Courtesy of Pat Wilson. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 23, 2003 Viola R. "Vi" Adams, died Wed., Feb. 19, 2003 at Shiloh Adult Care Home in Prescott Valley. She was the daughter of John L. & Rose P. (Schrank) Farrell. Vi was 94 years old. Vi was very proud of her 32 years as a telephone operator, first with Illinois Bell & retiring from US West. She moved to Phoenix in 1944 & to Prescott in 1985. Vi was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church & New Beginnings. She has also resided at Las Fuentes Resort. Vi is survived by her nephew, Raymond Alletag of Phoenix and great-niece, Jennifer McRae of Phoenix. A Celebration of "Vi's" life Mass will be at 1:30pm, Tues., Feb. 25 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fluery with Final Commendation & farewell at 11:30am on Sat., March 1 at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, 48 St. & Oak in Phoenix.
