The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 22, 2003 Al Gamez, 50, of Glendale, AZ passed away on February 18, 2003. As a young man he joined the U.S. Air Force. Was actively involved with various City of Glendale committees. He was a loving husband, father, teacher and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched. He was family focused and will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his wife and life partner, Mickey, daughter Lauren and son David; sisters Gloria and Margie; brother Ricky. Memorial services will be on Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 10a.m. at Rest Funeral Services, 9380 West Peoria Avenue, Peoria. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
