Delfidra H. (Malle) Sweeney, 87, passed away January 8, 2003 in Chandler Az.
She was preceeded by husband Louis L. Sweeney, who was the grandson of Arizona Pioneer John William Sweeney, first anglo blacksmith inside the the Persido Walls of Tucson, Az., Pima County Supervisor, one of the co-founders of Florence, Az, served on the Territorial Legislation, and was school trustee in Florence.
She was survived by son, Louis M. Sweeney of Chandler, Az., sisters, Hortensia Ramirez of Tucson, Az., Ernistine Flin of Atlanta, Ga., Lola Perez of Relito, Ca., brother; Jose Herrera of Florence, Az. and six grandchildren.
Services and burial were held January 11, 2003 in Florence, Arizona.
