The Casa Grande Dispatch, Casa Grande, Arizona Friday, March 28, 2003 Marjorie Estella Stephenson, 93, of Casa Grande, Arizona died March 26, 2003 at Chandler Regional Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Casa Grande Chapel. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Monday, with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating. Mrs. Stephenson was born Feb. 8, 1910 in Trinidad, Colo. She married Russell Stephenson in 1931 in Cortez, Colo. She was a baker at Prettyman's Market in Casa Grande before retirement. She was a member of Blue Star Mothers and Red Cross. She enjoyed baking, especially cakes, reading, sewing and gardening. Survivors include five daughters, Sherry Clutter of Casa Grande, Evelyn McWhirter of Snowflake, Az., Barbara Ostler of Burnet, Texas, Juanita Tellez and Delpha Andersen of Phoenix; three sons, Claud E. Stephenson of Northridge, Calif., Ray Stephenson of Mammoth and Charles Stephenson of Cottonwood, Az.; 107 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Marjorie Brattain; a son, Clyde Stephenson; two sisters; and three brothers.
