The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 23, 2003 Elizabeth J. Mignacca, 82, died February 18, 2003 at Encore Senior Village in Phoenix, AZ. A Rhode Island Resident before moving to Scottsdale in 1995, she was the wife of Virgilio A. Mignacca. She was an Administrative Assistant at the Veterans' Administration in Providence. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Romanina (Paladini) Calise and Francesco S. Calise. A graduate of Central High School, she was awarded the Anthony Medal for writing excellence. She is survived by her husband, Virgilio A. Mignacca and a son, Virgil Mignacca, Jr., both of Scottsdale, and a daughter, Deborah Varga of Cranston, Rhode Island.
