The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, March 1, 2003 Julia G. Anaya, 76, resident of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away February 26, 2003. She is survived by her husband Amado, sister, Beatrice Sanchez, four sons, James (Barbara) Bagg, Jesus Anaya, Ernest (Carolyn) Anaya, and Richard (Antonia) Anaya; two daughters, Amanda and Mona Anaya fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Charlotte. Julia will be missed by many, her joyous spirit, her love of her grandchildren, the teaching of making tortillas & beans and the many games she played with them along with her loving smile, love you Mom/Nana. Services: Saturday, March 1st 2003, at 2 p.m., with visitation 2 hours prior at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel 719 N. 27th Avenue. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
