Elizabeth (Sally) Burkhart passed from this life peacefully in the evening hours of February 25th, 2003 after a brief but courageous battle against cancer.
She faced this challenge, as she did all things in life, with unfailing dignity and grace.
Loving wife of Vince Burkhart, mother of Dawn Calderon (Richard), Cheryl Johnson (David), Renee Mims (Danny), Vince Jr., Anton, David (Pam), Frank (Cindy), Mike (Melissa), Helen Turner (J.D.), Joni Bishop and Kimberly Bricker (Frankie). She leaves twenty-five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her brother William Rose, four nephews and many friends.
Born in Flint, Michigan on July 9, 1934 , moved to Arizona in 1962.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life by attending the viewing on March 2 from 5 - 8 p.m. and services on March 3 at 11 a.m., location will be Best Funeral Home in Peoria, Az., located at 9380 W. Peoria.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Of The Valley.
