SKOK, Joseph Carrol


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 23, 2003 Joseph Carrol Skok, 75, of Phoenix, AZ went to join his wife Virginia, and grandson, Nicholas in heaven on Feb. 18, 2003. Joe was the eldest of 4 children and is survived by his brothers Max (Evelyn), Howard (Jeanne) and sister Dixie (Vance) Tice. He is also survived by his sons: Joseph K. (Ernestine), Larry (Janie) as well as his beloved daughters: Robin (Jonathan) McMahon and Nancy (David) Skok-Hill. Joe was blessed with 14 grandchildren as well as 6 great grandchildren. He was a retired aerospace machinist, but his proudest accomplishment was being Santa Claus professionally for more than 40 years before retiring 7 years ago. Joe loved his family most of all, but also loved to flirt with pretty girls to pass the time. He will be missed dearly each and every day. Services will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 W. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, February 28, 2003 at 10:30 AM.
