Turley, 43, died Feb. 20, 2003 in Phoenix after a very lengthy battle with Valley Fever. He was born June 2, 1959 in Holbrook to Louis and Nancy Turley. Thomas went from kindergarten through high school in the Holbrook school system graduating in 1977. As a young man he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He was active in the scouting program, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and earning his Bronze Star. Tom decided in kindergarten that he would be a truck driver and he was a truck driver all of his life. Tom is survived by his wife, Vicky; his children, Marissa of Colorado and Danyel, Damien and Randy of Holbrook; his mother, Nancy Turley; three brothers, Raymond (Dawn) Turley and children, Jack (Karen) Turley and children, Brad (Pam) Turley and children; and grandmothers, Evelyn Walker and Dora Turley. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Turley and grandfather, Raymond Walker. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Holbrook Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be a viewing from 6-8 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook. Interment will be in the Holbrook Cemetery.
