HESSE, Robin MacLeod


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, March 1, 2003 Robin MacLeod Hesse, 68, of Scottsdale, Arizona went to be with the Lord February 24, 2003. He was born on April 14, 1934 in Detroit, Mich-igan. Robin was a veteran who served during the Korean War. He graduated as a varsity letterman in swimming from Michigan State University where he was ranked 3rd in the United States in Freestyle. Robin moved his family in 1968 to the Northwest where he founded his company, Wilson and Dean Construction Company Inc., a commercial general contracting firm with offices in Seattle, Wa. and Portland, Ore. He retired in 1994 and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where he sold real estate for Coldwell Banker Pinnacle Peak Realty. Robin was proud to serve as Deacon and Elder of Desert Hills Presbyterian Church in Carefree, Arizona. Thankful for having shared in his life are his wife, Anne Hesse, of Scottsdale, Az.; son, Bryan Hesse of Des Moines, Ia.; daughters, Diane Hood of Portland, Ore.; Julie Mackey of Redmond, Wa.; son, Scott Hesse of Gilbert, Az; ten grandchildren; and one sister, Melicent Ott of Chicago, Ill.. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 14th, 2:00 p.m., at Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, 34605 N. Scottsdale Rd., Carefree, Az.
