Born March 27, 1914 in Fresno, Ca. he served in the Navy in the Pacific Fleet aboard the USS Holland and USS St. George in WWII as a Radio Chief. He married Esther Lillian Bengtson in 1947 and raised a family in Alaska between 1949 and 1972. Marrying Anna Lenz in 1973 he retired to Peoria, Az. from Pag, Az. in 1979. Mr. Holden is survived by his wife Anna, of Surprise, Az.; son & daughter-in-law, Lonner & Jill Holden and grandchildren Olivia & Emily of San Rafael, Ca; sister-in-law, Ida; nieces Marlene, Connie & Janet.
