Sylvia Green Levine, beloved wife of the late Leon Levine and the late George Green, a resident of West Bloomfield Mich., passed away June 14, 2002 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident which occurred June 9, 2002.
Born November 18, 1916, she was 85.
Survivors include her two sons, Dr. Robert Green of Northfield, Ohio and Michael Green (and his wife, Kelly) of Calabasas, Calif.; and her two granddaughters, Candice (and her husband, Michael) Tahi of Los Angeles and Lindsay Green of Santa Monica, Calif. She is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Claire and Daniel Finn of Gaithersburg, MD.; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack (John) and Belle Swartz of Phoenix; and by many other loving relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.
Sylvia touch many lives. She was a devoted mother and gift to everyone who knew her. She was eloquent and independent. Sylvia was employed for over 20 years by El-Mar Fur Salon, located in Oak Park, Mich.
Memorial service was held at Temple Beth El, Bloomfield Hills, Mich. on June 16th, 2002. Arrangements were by The Ira Kaufman Chapel. Donations to honor the memory of Sylvia Green Levine may be made to Temple Beth El, 7400 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301.
