Mr. Milton B. Rouda, 80, died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at Las Palmas Healthcare Center, McAllen, Texas. He was born in Greenville, S.C. and had lived in McAllen for the last 2 years.
He was a member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Greenville, S.C., the Hejaz Temple in Mauldin, S.C., the Glendale Lodge #23 F & AM in Glendale, AZ and the Phoenix Scottish Rite Bodies in Phoenix, AZ. He was also past Vice President of the Lions Club (Long Haven West) in Phoenix, AZ and he also attended the Ford Motor Co. Marketing Institute receiving several awards.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jeanne Rouda of McAllen, two sisters, Edith Finley of Easley, S.C. and Myrtle Owings of Laurens, S.C., and numerous nephews & nieces. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 6977 Main St., Houston, Texas 77030.
Visitation and Masonic Funeral Rite will be Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary Chapel, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Graveside service will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona on Wednesday July 3, 2002. Chaplain and Honor Guard will be provided by American Legion Post #29 of Glendale, Arizona. Phoenix Memorial Mortuary assisted the family with their arrangements.
