Harold A. Heubel, 78, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away at home on February 25, 2003, after fighting a long battle with cardiac disease. Born in Little Ferry, New Jersey, he went on to serve as a radioman aboard the USS Fremont in WWII.
After graduating from Pace University in New York City he worked for 38 years as a marketing and sales specialist with Amour-Dial Corp. He ended his career as Vice President for Guest Supply, Inc.
He is survived by Maura, his loving wife of 43 years; a son, Paul; daughters, Suzanne, Tara (Rick) Kuspis, and Jane (Bill) Ross; grand-children, Kathryn Kuspis, Peter Kuspis, Alexandra Ross and Kristen Ross; three brothers Albert (Irene) and Charles (Ruth) Heubel of Little Ferry, N.J. and Anthony (Mary) Heubel of Bernville, Penn. and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Lilly Heubel.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 5th, 2003, at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, Rosary at 9:45 a.m., funeral mass at 10:00 a.m., with reception and family visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dr. Gordon Evy Foundation, Chair of Cardiac Medicine, University Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona, 85724-0002.
