John Heyer, 74, of Scottsdale, passed on June 23, 2002. Retired Officer NYFD. Survived by wife, Theresa; sons, John R. Heyer and Steve Heyer, 5 grandchildren Wendy, Vicki, John R, Lauren and Jeffrey; 6 great-grandchildren Shelby, J. Tyler, Amanda, Trevor, Travis, Alison and now one more, 6/27/2002, newborn Wesley. One life gone, one life begins, Great sorrow, great happiness. Interment National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona Cave Creek Rd, Phx, AZ. Published in The Arizona Republic June 29, 2002.
