SAMPLEY, Richard Lynn

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, March 2, 2003 Richard L. Sampley, 51, passed away February 24, 2003 at his home in Yarnell, Arizona. Native of Arizona, he resided in Phoenix until moving to Yarnell in 1999. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Pam, two children, Jeff and Sandra, brother, Robert D. Sampley Jr., and an abundance of close family and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Toye Marie, and father, Robert D. Sampley Sr. Rick was a successful self-employed Sales Representative for several national fabric companies throughout the Southwest. He enjoyed flying, golfing, fishing, personal fitness and was an avid racing enthusiast. He was a devoted husband, father and friend. He will be missed. Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Rick's life on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Phoenix International Raceway, to begin at 11:30 AM with reception to follow.
