SKOUSEN, Clarence Fred*


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 25, 2003 Clarence Fred Skousen, long time Chandler resident, passed away on February 22, 2003. He was 99 years old. Clarence was born on February 3, 1904 to James N. and Emma Mortensen Skousen in Colonia Juarez, Mexico. He came to Arizona in 1916 from Mexico at the age of 12. During his life as an educator, coach and cotton farmer, he touched many lives. Clarence is survived by his wife, Wanda M. Skousen and children, Vickie Ostler, John Moorfield, Robyn Eshenroder, Mark Moorfield and Brad Skousen; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters; Mary, Della, Cecil and Dora, and brothers; Williard, James, Karl and Pete. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 from 5-7 PM at the Chapel of Bueler Mortuary, 14 West Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ. Services will be held at Walker Mortuary in Provo, Utah and interment will follow at Provo City Cemetery. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
