The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 25, 2003 Frieda Johnson Thomas, 69, of Phoenix, passed away on February 21, 2003. Frieda was born in Burlington, Vermont. She was preceded in death by her parents Milton C. and Elizabeth F. Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (John) Fisher, sons Richard, Christopher (Cheryl), Frederick (Leslie), William, grandchildren, Riley, Claire, and Olivia. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all. Frieda retired after a 40 year nursing career and enjoyed spending her free time relaxing with family and friends, reading, exercising and being outdoors. She was a devoted animal lover who especially appreciated the company of her cats. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, at 11 a.m., All Saints Episcopal Church, 6300 N.
