The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 25, 2003 Marilyn J. Weakland, 72, passed away February 21, 2003 at Peppertree Square Assisted Living, Peoria, AZ. Beloved wife and mother. Preceded in death by Michael. Survived by Husband John N. Weakland, daughter Susan Verdusco, sons John R. and Norman Weakland; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 108th Ave. & Coggins, 1 block south of Grand Ave., Sun City, AZ at 10am, Feb. 27th, 2003. Family visit from 9:00-9:45am. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to RTA Hospice & Palliative Care, 102 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006. Burial in Farmington, UT. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
