Henry White, Jr., 70, died May 30, 2004, in Globe.
Henry was born in East Fork on the Ft. Apache Indian Reservation. He lived all of his life in East Fork and attended East Fork Lutheran mission School. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator in the logging woods for Pinetop Logging Company. He retired in 1982. After he retired from the logging woods he worked for several years as an attendant at the service station in Whiteriver. Henry was a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and the East Fork Lutheran Mission.
Henry is survived by three daughters, Jeanette White of East Fork, Carol Hawkins of Ft. Apache, and Christy Truse of Eden, Oklahoma; two sons, Paul White of Whiteriver and Venard White of East Fork; one sister, Reva Burnette of Whiteriver; one brother, Stanley White of East Fork; 15 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three god-children.
A wake was held Thursday June 10, at the family home in East Fork. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday June 12, at the East Fork Lutheran Church with burial in the Morning Dove Cemetery in East Fork.
Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
