The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, March 3, 2003 Mrs. Alma Jones, 90, born September 25, 1912 in Bonneville, Arkansas, passed away March 2, 2003 at the Coronado Home in Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband James M. Jones in 1993, two sons, Wayne Jones and Gerald Jones in 1976. Mrs. Jones is survived by three sons, James D. Jones and wife Frances of Bremerton, Wash., Jim H. Jones and wife Carol of Glendale, Az., Hershel M. Jones and wife Linda of Chandler, Az., three daughters Wilma Ploegsma of Enumclaw, Wash., Wanda Pearce & husband Gale of Anchorage, Alaska and Lola A. Schaefer of Bremerton, Wash., one brother, 2 sisters, 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Monday, March 3, 2003, Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix. Services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, March 4, 2003, Hansen Mortuary.
