Dorothy Jean Pearson, 82, passed away on February 23, 2003 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born on January 14, 1921 to John & Ethel (Hyett) Rummel in Moline, IL, she moved to AZ in 1961.
Dorothy was a buyer of women's clothing and managed several clothing stores, including the El Tamarack Store and the pro shop at Paradise Valley Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ where her husband Edwin Pearson was head golf professional.
She is survived by her husband Edwin C; daughter, Linda J. Scott of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Mindy McDonald of Chicago, IL, Shelly Boynton of St. Simons Island, GA and Bobbi Scott-Hlebeck of San Diego, CA; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Bethards of Payson, AZ; niece, Penny Donald of Flagstaff, AZ, and great-nephew, John Donald of Phoenix preceded her in death.
A private memorial service was held Feb. 24, 2003 at Messinger Indian School Mortuary. Memorial
