ALEKSON, Martha Lee

Martha Lee Alekson, 74, of Phoenix, AZ went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2003. Martha is survived by her husband, Gedmin (Al), her son, Ray, daughter, Kathryn, & grandchildren, Jesse Defer, & Maureen, Nathan & Stephen Alekson. Martha was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on August 13, 1928 & moved to AZ in 1942. She met Al in 1951 & they were married May 3, 1952 at the Luke Air Force Base Chapel. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary last year. Visitation will be Monday, 6/2/03, 6-8pm with Rosary at 7pm at the A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phx. Funeral Mass is Tuesday, 6/3, at 11:30am, Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Ave., Phx. Graveside service will follow mass at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale, AZ.
