BRUMMITT, Mary J.

Mary J. Brummitt, 74, of Gold Canyon, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 from ALS. Mary was born in Kalamazoo, MI on July 21, 1928 to Frank and Gail Sackett. She graduated from Western Michigan College with a degree in Business Administration. Mary was a beloved Business Teacher at both Rhinelander High School and Nicolet College in Rhinelander, WI. Mary married her best friend, Robert Brummitt, on August 14, 1953. They enjoyed nearly 50 years of a happy marriage and raised four children: Mark of Rhinelander, WI, Robyn (Chris) Conrad of Gilbert, AZ, Michael (Marilyn) of Amory, MS, and Renee (Raymond) Phillips of Success, MO. She shared many wonderful memories with her five grandchildren: Brady, Blake, Kristin, Elaina, Eric and Austin. A family service was held on May 27, 2003 at the Mountain View Mortuary Chapel in Mesa, AZ. Final resting place is at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
