MEINERSHAGEN, Marie

Marie Meinershagen of Phoenix, died June 28, 2002, after three years of failing health. 

This wonderful, sharing, ambitious woman will be missed by her husband, Homer, her sons, Don and Roger, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

During her years she gave so much to her community and church. One of her prized accomplishments later in life was the publication of a book of her recipes. 

Born in 1915 in Concordia, Missouri and a resident of Arizona for 43 years, she worked both in and out of the home. Marie was a member of the Dancers Unit, Qadesh Temple, Daughters of the Nile, and a member of Directors Staff Sphinx Court LOS. 

Services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2002, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the services at Green Acres Mortuary, Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Rd, Scottsdale. Memorial contributions can be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 10030 N. 32nd St, Pheonix, AZ 85028.
