George Champlin
George Champlin Salisbury Jr. was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 1, 1922, and entered into rest on June 28, 2002.
He was a Technical Sergeant during WWII and was a recipient of a Bronze Star. He was a long time lawnbowler & a member of the U.S. Lawnbowler clubs of Sun City. He was elected to the Lawnbowlers Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Salisbury; Survivors include daughters, Anne S. Flash, Barbara S. Romano & husband Robert; sons, Robert C. Salisbury & wife Mary; Richard M. Salisbury & wife Terri; grandchildren, Christopher Flash & wife Nancy, Edward Flash & Amanda Flash, Emily, Kevin & Colleen Salisbury, Anne Catherine Romano;
great-grandchild Melanie Flash.
Services Tuesday July 2, 2002, at the Congregation Church of Sun City. Contributions: U.S. Lawnbowling Association or the Congregational Church of Sun City.
