Courtesy of Pat Wilson. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, March 5, 2003 Reva "Peg" Schlientz, 89, of Scottsdale, passed away February 14, 2003 in Denver, CO. She was born on October 21, 1913 in Fountain Green, IL. Survivors include her granddaughter, Michelle Chick Barron; great grandson, Branden Barron and grandson, Michael Chick all of Denver, CO; step daughter, Gaylee Fretz; grandsons, Kevin and Jay Fretz and great grandson, Cade Fretz all of Arizona. Peg lived in Ohio from 1984 until 1996 and was preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Schlientz in March 2002. She was active in PEO and loved living at Classic Residence in Scottsdale. Peg had recently moved to Denver to be with her family where she was a resident of Parkplace. She came into this world an orphan and went away with more friends and family than anyone can imagine. Peg touched so many lives with sincere enthusiasm. Valentines Day will remain a day of love, as we will always remember Peg as a beautiful woman filled with love for everyone she met. Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2003 at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
