Lois E. Flood of Scottsdale, died on March 1, 2003 after a brief illness.
Lois Elaine (Nee Pebbles) was the beloved wife of Joseph; beloved mother of Patrick and Martin, and beloved grandmother of Caitlin, Sean, Kelsey, Luke and Kyle.
She was born in Hornell, New York on July 19, 1930. Lois attended Hornell primary and high schools, where she was a drum major. She played the piano and the string bass in their award winning orch-estra. She later enrolled in Fredonia State College to continue her musical studies.
Lois married Joe on May 7, 1955 and moved with him and their boys to Scottsdale in September of 1962 where she became known for her beautiful eyes and sunny disposition. Her family and friends miss her very much.
Viewing will be on Thursday, March 6th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, followed by a Rosary Recital at 7:30 at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, March 7th at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7655 E. Main St., Scottsdale, AZ. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ at approximately 11:00 AM on Friday. The family requests contributions to Arizona Humane Society, 9226 N. 13th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021.
