HAUER, Wilfred J. (Wil)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, March 5, 2003 Wilfred J. 'Wil' Hauer, 71, passed away February 28, 2003 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born April 27, 1931 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Elmer and Marian Hauer. He married Frances Harnish on September 25, 1954. He graduated in 1949 from Bellefonte High School and from Penn State University in 1953 with a degree in Accounting. He retired in 1996 from the Alhambra Elementary School District as the Assistant Superintendent in charge of Business. He is survived by his wife, Frances, his children, Joyce (Dean) Koressel of Prescott, Diane Hauer of El Mirage, Melissa Hauer (Michael Dean) of Dewey, Az. and Michael (Karen) Hauer of Las Vegas, Nev., 5 grandchildren, Jessica Hauer, Kevin Hauer, Nicholas Koressel, Chelsea Koressel and Tyler Koressel, his brother, Larry (Verna) Hauer of Groton, CT, his sister Marianne (Ed) Shuey of Pueblo, CO and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Hwy 69, Prescott Valley.
