Edith Kaplan, nee Maltz, of Chicago, formerly of Scotts dale, AZ, died January 28, 2003. 

Edith was extremely philanthropic in numerous Jewish organizations. Beloved wife of the late Meyer; loving mother of Jerrold (Sissy), Burton (Janet) and Ronald (Adriane); adored grandma and "Nana" of David (Tall), Brian (Stephanie), Jason and Allssa Kaplin, Jennifer (Joshua) Gorin; proud great-grandmother of Sam, Max, Joshua, Madeline & Chase; dear sister of Anne Schubert and the late Ben Maltz and Mary Rosen. 

Services were held January 31st at Temple Chai in Long Grove. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hadassah, 111 N. Wabash St., Ste 810, Chicago, IL 60602 or a charity of your choice. Goldman Funeral Group, Irwin Goldman Funeral Director.
