The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, March 5, 2003 Walter R. Kirk, 74, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away March 3, 2003 in Phoenix. Mr. Kirk, a salesman for Dalis Electronics for 10 years, before retiring in 1995, was born, June 18, 1928 in Vinton, Virginia. He moved to Arizona 9 months ago from Portsmouth, Rhode Island. He was a vocalist for The Orpheus Choir and a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul. He is survived by his daughters, Tricia Servin and Rebecca Taylor of Phoenix; sons, David of Tempe and Jonathan of Portland, OR; sisters, Susie Amos of Roanoke, VA; Irene Boothe, Mamie Parker and "Toodle" Ferris, all of Goodview, VA and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix; with funeral services at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 7, 2003, also at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Vincent DePaul, 420 W.
